The CBL-RPSMARD-SM is an extension cable. The flange allows the cable to be mounted on a case.

Connection example
Example of CBL-RPSMARD-SM with the 2.4 GHz telecommand units, KST2.4S and KSR2.4.
When using a plastic case connect the antenna base to a metal ground plane for antenna impedance matching.
A wider ground plane is more effective for receiver sensitivity and stability.
In order to avoid influence from noise, the coax cable must be placed far away from the CPU and PCBs.
