[ Video ] [ MU-2-429 ] - Demonstrating how to send some sensor readings in the Japanese 429 MHz ISM band.

This video was made to demonstrate Circuit Design's range of MU series modems designed for operation in the Japanese domestic market. As a consequence, the ISM band takes place in the 429 MHz band instead of 434 MHz and carrier sensing is required prior to transmission.

Despite this difference, these modules are compatible with the 434 MHz MU series, MU-2-R and MU-4. Therefore it is possible for the user to adapt their product for use in the Japanese market.
